God, The I AM

The Spirit of God's Name "I AM" and His Personas

(Exodus 3:13-15 [KJV]) And Moses said unto God, Behold, [when] I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What [is] his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this [is] my name for ever, and this [is] my memorial unto all generations.

Who is the “I AM”? In the above verse, Moses asked the God, “What [is] his name”? And God said unto Moses, “I AM THAT I AM”. With God’s answer, I believe God’s given name is “I AM” in its purist form. God is a Holy Spirit and He said His name is “I AM”! At this time, the I Am of God has no physical body man can touch and see. It is just as the name of my spirit given to me is Bart Henderson. My spirit I AM resides in the physical body of Bart Henderson so I can have many personal relationships with all persons around me.

Most today’s Christian religions believe the “I AM” comprise of the three Persons of the Trinity. I believe the main confusion about the Trinity is that today many people believe our God “I AM” comprise of three persons. The three persons are God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. Also today’s religion preach there is a mystery on how the three persons of Godhead work together in our salvation. The confusion comes from today’s definition and its use of person. The basic definition of person is: an individual or body of individual.

About two thousand years ago and more, our Bible we have today was written by the definitions of that day. Therefore, we must use the definition of the word person based on usage of those many years past. The proper use of person at that time is to use of its root word, which is persona. Greek was Israel’s official language at that time. Iif we use persona instead of person for God’s three persons, we should have a better understanding who the “I AM” is!

This definition Persona is from Wikipedia: Persona-A personality, in the word's everyday usage, is a social role or a character played by an actor. This is an Italian word that derives from the Latin for a kind of mask made to resonate with the voice of the actor (per sonare meaning "to sound through").

The Latin word probably derived from the Etruscan word "phersu", with the same meaning, and that from the Greek "πρόσωπον". Its meaning in the latter Roman period changed to indicate a "character" of a theatrical performance.

In ancient Latin, persona meant, "mask." Today it does not usually refer to a literal mask but to the "social masks”, all humans supposedly wear.

The best-known persons of God today are God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. These persons are from the Trinity Doctrine, which was developed in the second and third centuries AD after all the disciples had died. The KJV Book of 2 John warns us about false teachers at that time was changing the Gospel reflecting new doctrines about Christ. This started around 90ADto 100AD. The Book of Jude was also warning us about changing the Gospel to give us a “Christianity Lite” Gospel. It says, “Why not sin since we’re already forgiven”. This is another topic later.

I am going to use personas of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These are personas or mask of the Holy Spirit named “I AM”. The single “I AM” have the mask of God the Father to Israel. He has the mask of God the Son when He wore flesh and be the Redeemer for all mankind. After His resurrection, the mask became the Holy Spirit so He has the possibility to indwell in us individually as His Temples. When He indwells us, He also becomes our ABBA, Dearest Father, or Dearest Daddy. He is no longer our Savior because are already saved as His Child. We belong to Him.

Here is a personal example of my person or mask. My soul and spirit “I am” has a name of Bart Henderson. I have a spirit that resides in my physical body so I could where my different personas or mask reacting with people are me. My persona bears witness on who I am and with what relationship I have with you individually. One of my personas is a Husband to my wife; another persona is Father to my child; another persona is a Brother in Christ. I could go on and on of my different relationships with different people in my life.

Here are some of the personas of our God I AM in the old Testament and the personas of the New Testament.

Several Personas of God I AM in the Old Testament:

God is the Persona or mask is the relationship between Him from Adam to Moses. Then at the burning bush, the persona of God changed where the persona name I AM is given to Moses. God describes His relationship I Am for the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob to His new relationship has a name of I Am.

(Exod 3:6 [KJV])Moreover he said, I [am] the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

I must note future personas being revealed to mankind. As I am studying the Bible, I realized to whole Bible building a relationship with Jesus Christ. He is our redeemer and savior.

(Isa 63:16 [KJV]) Doubtless thou [art] our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, [art] our father, our redeemer; thy name [is] from everlasting.

(1Chr 29:10 [KJV]) Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed [be] thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.

(Isa 63:16 [KJV])Doubtless thou [art] our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, [art] our father, our redeemer; thy name [is] from everlasting.

In the Book of Jeremiah is the first time the relationship man with God is the Father of Israel. I understand God is the Father of the nation of Israel and not the individual persona of persona to an individual.

(Jer 31:9 [KJV])They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim [is] my firstborn.

(1Chr 22:10 [KJV])He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I [will be] his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.

(1Chr 29:10 [KJV])Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed [be] thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.

Several Personas of God I AM in the New Testament:

I would like to reinstate that in the Old Testament, the mask or impression of Father in most cases is for the nation of Israel. The great I AM in verse Isa 63:16 is also have the mask O Lord and redeemer. This one verse shows one God I AM having a relationship with people in two different Testament times. Also the next verse spans the two Testaments.

(Gen 3:15 [KJV]) And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

(Matt 1:16,17 [KJV])And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. So all the generations from Abraham to David [are] fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon [are] fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ [are] fourteen generations.

Wikipedia Definition of Christ: Christ is the English term for the Greek Χριστός (Khristós) meaning "the anointed one".[1] It is a translation of the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ (Māšîaḥ), usually transliterated into English as Messiah. In popular modern usage—even within secular circles—the term usually refers explicitly to Jesus of Nazareth.

The word is used as a title, hence its common reciprocal use Christ Jesus, meaning "Jesus The Messiah". Followers of Jesus became known as Christians because they believe that Jesus is the Christ, or Messiah, prophesied in the Tanakh (which Christians term the Old Testament).

Jesus in the Greek, which is the official language of Israel at that time, literally translate to the Persona of Savoir. In Hebrew which was the common language for the working man, the word Yeshua also means Savior. When we combine the two words Jesus Christ, it becomes Savior Anointed in our today’s language.

(Matt 1:21 [KJV])And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

(Luke 2:11 [KJV])For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Again, I found the persons of the great I AM in both testaments. Notice Jesus Himself states He is the I AM to Abraham. I am impressed with Job that he knows our Redeemer in the latter day.

(John 8:56-58 [KJV])Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw [it], and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

(Job 19:23-27 [KJV]) Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! For I know [that] my redeemer liveth, and [that] he shall stand at the latter [day] upon the earth: And [though] after my skin [worms] destroy this [body], yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; [though] my reins be consumed within me.

The New Testament has two different personas, one of Jesus Christ and the other is the Holy Spirit. It is amazing to find in Job,” For I know [that] my redeemer liveth, and [that] he shall stand at the latter [day] upon the earth:”. He recognizes the I AM with the persona of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer; he will see Him in the latter days.

This next section I will cover is the greatest Gift our God I Am gives us individually and collectively believing on our Lord God Jesus Christ. That Gift is the indwelling of His Holy Spirit. From the day of Pentecost to the Rapture, this is the only time in man’s history can be a Child of God and collectively His Bride and in the final chapter of Revelations His queen sitting next Him on His throne. Before Pentecost and after the rapture, the best relationship we have with God is being a great servant.

The Persona Holy Spirit of God I AM is given to His Children. The verses below are from the words of Jesus Christ Himself!

(John 14:16-27 [KJV]) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.These things have I spoken unto you, being [yet] present with you. But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

A person may notice that Jesus Christ and the Comforter is not observed at the same time. There is only one persona of I AM displayed. One persona of Jesus Christ is before the day of Pentecost and the other persona of Holy Spirit is after the day of Pentecost. If BOTH personas were seen at the same time, then we would have a God of split spirits or persons. That is not possible because we do not have a God with a split personality.

The greatest persona relationship a person could with I Am is the persona ABBA, Dearest Father!. We became His Child and will share His Throne described in Revelations. We as a Bride will also judge the fallen angels that are tormenting us today!

(Rev 22:16-17 [KJV]) I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

(1Cor 6:2-3 [KJV]) Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

(Rom 8:13-16 [KJV])For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

(Gal 4:5-7 [KJV])To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

These three next verses verify our God I AM is The Holy Spirit from the beginning of our time until the end of time, as we know it. Notice the different titles and persona have with us.

(Rev 1:7,8 [KJV])Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

(Rev 22:13 [KJV]) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Heb 13:8 [KJV])Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
