Who's Your Daddy?
Greetings all in the wonderful name of Jesus! This is my very first message for our new newsletter. I feel very honored and bless doing this. I prayed much and this message is laid upon my heart and brings it to light. I pray in Jesus's name that hearts, minds, and spirits lay open to this message. Most of all, I pray that this is His message for all whom read this, Amen!
First the Bible states we must worship in both Truth and in Spirit. My walk with the Holy Spirit showed me that the King James and possibly the New King James Bible are the most accurate translation today. All the others are interpretations from many other sources and biases. I have learned the KJV has the spirit of the Word of Truth. When I have problems what the spirit behind the King James Bible (KJV) says, I go to the Amplified Bible (AB) and try to understand what the spirit behind the verses I just read. The Amplified Bible is a translation from many learned scholars who studied from the ancient languages on what the spirit and meanings behind the words used. It is the Spirit of the Word! If I still have problems understanding, I pray and ask for the meanings from Jesus and He does answers. I will cover this topic in our future discussions.
I will demonstrate in asking this question. Who's Your Daddy?
Romans 8:14-16
KJV: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
AB: For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry Abba (Father)! Father!
***Note: Abba in Aramaic in familiar tense meaning Daddy!***
Acts 4:12
KJV Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
AB And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved.
Galatians 4:5-7
KJV To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
AB To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon us [and be recognized as God's sons].
Ephesians 1:5
KJV Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
AB for He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]-
Acts 2:38
KJV Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
AB And Peter answered them. Repent (change your views and purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it) and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of and release from your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the holy Spirit.
Colossians 2:12
KJV Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with [him] through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
AB [Thus you were circumcised when] you were buried with Him in [your] baptism, in which you were also raised with Him [to a new life] through [your] faith in the workings of God [as displayed] when He raised Him up from the dead.
Romans 6:3-9
KJV Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of [his] resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that hence forth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
AB Are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? We were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might [habitually] live and behave in newness of life. For if we have become one with Him by sharing a death like His, we shall also be [one with Him in sharing] His resurrection [by a new life lived for God]. We know that the old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that (our) body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin. For when a man dies, he is freed (loosed, delivered) from [the power of] sin [among men]. Now if we had died with Christ, we believe that shall also live with Him. Because we know that Christ (the Anointed One), being once raised from the dead, will never die again: death no longer has power over Him.
After reading the above biblical passages, can you really properly answer the question, who's Daddy? According to the Bible, there are two kinds of fathers in this world that have children. Can you guess who the fathers are? Who are their children?
I John 3:10
KJV In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
AB By this it is made clear who take their nature from God and are His children and who take their nature from the devil and his children: no one who does not practice righteousness [who does not conform to God's willing purpose, thought, and action] is of God: neither is anyone who does not love his brother (his fellow believer in Christ).
I pray in Jesus's name that this message be received with love and passion on what God's word has to say. These are not my words but words from His written Word, amen. He Allowed me bringing His words into light and focus. Again I ask…
Who's your Daddy???
